MINDSET TRAINING FOR ACHIEVING PEAK PERFORMANCE

Mindset Strength Training teaches athletes to achieve peak performance and persevere through difficult circumstances.

Mental Strength training starts with a decision to bring your A-Game every time – playing to your key strengths

An athlete who understands the most powerful

piece of equipment they own is their mind,

has the mental toughness to succeed.

Nat conducted an 8 week performance mindset training program with Haileybury Aquatic Swimming Club. The swimmers absolutely loved the program that Nat runs and got a heap out of it. They are now more aware of their mindset not only in competition but also in training which is so important as that is where the improvements are made. Each individual swimmer took something different from each of Nat’s presentations which is important as that means that she caters for all learning styles. We thank Nat for her time and the effort that she put into improving our team!

Your A-Game

A-Game – focuses on strengths and abilities and is where time should be spent. The more time spent playing your A-Game the less anxiety is created and the better you will feel about your performance.

Braving Friendships

Owning Your Thoughts

The mind wants to be fast, efficient and correct every time. Whenever you set a goal, like being the best in your chosen sport, instantly self-doubt will appear. Understand how to recognise and change to self-confidence.

Meditation

Meditation can help you deal with stress and negative emotions. Meditation isn’t about tuning out completely – especially in the beginning. It is like giving yourself a gift of 10 minutes. That’s it. It can harder than you think.

What athletes are saying about this program

What did you like most?

Learning how to race faster and more efficiently. The tools I use all the time are the A-Game & B-Game mindset, controlling my nerves and the meditation

What did you like most?

Understanding that I have control over my self-talk and working on meditation as part of getting the most out of my practice. The goal setting was hard but now I get how it causes self-doubt.

What did you like most?

I had never heard of the thought cycle and it is hard to remember all the time but when I do, it changes the way I see things – including myself. I am moving from my B-Game into my A-Game quicker all the time.
